QR Code is a real generator and scanner. Generation produces a genuinely scannable code entirely client side, no external QR service in the loop, and scanning uses your camera with the native BarcodeDetector API where it is supported.
Every payload it builds is spec conformant, and everything it can build it can also parse back apart, which is what makes the history genuinely reusable.
